FRM stands for Field Reimbursement Manager, a pharmaceutical industry professional who helps healthcare providers and their office staff understand insurance coverage, reimbursement processes, payer requirements, and potential barriers to patient access. These professionals play an important educational role in helping healthcare offices navigate the complexities of reimbursement and access to prescribed therapies.
Founded by Latoya Wise, affectionately known as Toya Imani, Black FRMs Connect provides education, career transition coaching, résumé guidance, mock interviews, and meaningful opportunities for professional connections.

With a professional background spanning healthcare, pharmaceutical field access and reimbursement, business leadership, and entrepreneurship, Latoya is an experienced industry professional, entrepreneur, and mentor who has built her career around relationship building, education, and collaboration. She is passionate about helping others navigate complex challenges, supporting professional development, and advocating for greater diversity within the pharmaceutical industry.
